Nice and settled!

So... I have a confession. I have been absolutely terrible in updating since we moved in! Its been 7 months.. crazy i know! We have finished the house (apart from the small side which has been started) in between trying to finish we have had our wedding, honeymoon and a brother who had a bad car accident which meant our household of 2 with 2 dogs  went to 8! And 4 dogs as my brother, his wife and 2 kids needed to move in till he recovered enough to navigate stairs and of course i forgot to mention my parents sold their family house of 22 years and are building so they also moved in!

So i am hoping you all can forgive me for the lack of updates! Anyway here is some photos!

1 week to go!!!!

So I have been a little quiet on here lately! Apologies however life has just gotten so busy with packing, organising and work has been insane since the crazy storms we had!!

A lot has happened in the last couple of weeks with the tiling being completed, the painting started and almost complete inside today and the plumbing rough in completed and the electrical rough in started! We are so so close to the end it is unbelievable!

It has been super hard getting photos of the painting as his stuff has been everywhere and we have been going after work which means it gets dark pretty quickly after arriving.

The colour we picked for our wall is Taubman's Stonebridge, it is absolutely stunning on the walls! We are over the moon with our choice and couldn't be happier!

Can't wait to get some more photos to show you all!

Thursday 23rd April

The boys FINALLY turned up to start tiling after not coming Monday and then category 2 cyclone Tuesday and Wednesday!! Absolutely loving it so far!!

What beautiful masterpieces!

My amazing hubby to be has been very busy working completing 2 entertainment units custom built for the niches so they fit snug and also our vanity tops. To say I am in LOVE is an understatement. It is everything I pictured and more. I just love how different and unique our vanities will look in our beautiful home once it is complete. I am even more amazed as he is an office worker and doesn't even had any sort of trade under his belt! I am totally bragging - I am allowed to right?

Stone bench top!!!!! AMAZING!

Thursday 16th April

Drove past after work today and to our surprise our beautiful (and expensive) stone bench top! Oh and don't get my started on a sink! It was worth every cent!! So happy!

Fix out invoice sent this morning, can't believe now we only have 1 more to go!
We have been given our walk through date of the 18th May!!! 32 days and counting lol!

Wednesday 15th April

I drove past afternoon and luckily was able to get through to have a quick look!!! So in love!!! Our house is actually starting to look like a house!
Skirting was finished (well just about) and all doors are now on! It's really taking shape now!

They are all ready for the tiling to start as the sand has arrived and tiles arrived yesterday.

It looks like more waterproofing was done today also!

Door Architraves, doors and window frames

Monday 13th April

Not alot happened last week, actually pretty much nothing apart from them finishing off the gyprocking in the Terraza on Friday afternoon.

Today we had the carpenters on site continuing installing of the doors and windows.. I couldn't get many photos as we are locked out and I was told to get off the site on Friday by my ss and whilst they were working they had all doors closed (clearly not welcome) lol!

To my suprise we also had our garage door was installed!!!
